My Webcomic:
Marty the Platformer

Yeah, so I said there'd be stuff here didn't I?

Well, boy guess its been a few months. The truth is that this has been extremely hectic at college. I'd rather not go into it, but for someone who's already done a degree and a diploma, what I've just done for my masteres has to be one of the most strenuous, stressful experiences I've ever had in college. At one point I was only just able to save my sanity by talking things through with a group of magical rabbits.

So there's a bit of a calm, and I might be using this time on a few of my personal projects which I often keep myself occupied with as well as keeping track of them. One of them is this section here. I know many, many sites deal with film reviewing in one form or another, but I feel my deep, personal view of each film can take the art of film reviewing into places never before seen, let me know what you think! (like that's ever going to happen)

Sofox Central, open for business

Welcome to Sofox Central, the personal website of none other then... er...myself, Sofox! (Yes, I know that's redundant). Anyway, this site is going to continually develop as I add more stuff and make new sections, as well as being a touchstone for all my net endevours. The layout does need work I know, but I decided to use a web template as a starting off point as my last attempt at web design ended up with a colour scheme caused visual pain and I wanted something I could link people to without suffering sheer embarasment. (For the ocular masochists among you: http://www.netsoc.tcd.ie/~sofox/about.php. You have been warned and apologised to). What I learn from this this and other templates about layout and webdesign, I'll be applying to this site.

A bit about myself. My biggest net contribution aside from a voluminous amounts of posts in my forum hangouts, is my webcomic that I've managed to keep going for 30 comics (link on the left). I'm probably going to keep making it, but how long it will be between each update is another issue entirely. I've a YouTube profile that contains a animated segment ripped off an early 90s movie, and a deviantART profile with one brief sketch and a list of the 99 other "themes" I've yet to draw. Hitting my name up on Google (advantage of having an uncommon alias) shows my Kotaku profile up first and a smattering of other things (ignore the Newgrounds profile, I don't know who that guy is) that don't add up to much. Meh, for whatever I've got going on in my life (and there's a bundle), from the perspective of an average websurfer, I'm a pretty unremarkable person.

But I don't really have the intention of things being like that for long.

Anyway, I've got some plans, some ideas, a lot of growing to do as I find a way for this site to develop and find its focus. I'm well aware that this begining is about as unspectacular as most of the other stuff I've done online, but there was a distance travelled to get to this point in the first place and I can assure you that there's more to come(I'm sure I'm keeping you in agony suspense at this point).

Regardless, this is Sofox, signing off
